Kevin Tudball is an artist from Detroit, Michigan, who grew upwith a family full of creative support. In the second grade Kevin declared, "I want to be an artist when I grow up!" From that point on, every 'career placement test' he took in school came up with the same answer: Commercial Artist.
Other creative forces in his life came in the form of music. Learning how to play trumpet, piano, drums, guitar, bass, mandolin and learning how to sing gave him another creative output, as well as brought a whole new set of visual influence. Building a collection of albums anywhere between 500 and 1000, creating album art would become one of his dreams.
Kevin eventually went on to the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts, with a focus in Graphic Design and Illustration. This is where he found his abilities as a painter, using acrylic, spray-paint, paint markers, and found materials. His influence from skateboards, albums, and graffiti became much more apparent.
With that Kevin moved to San Jose, CA where he worked for an internationally known design consultancy. Using his location to spend a great deal of time in both San Francisco and Santa Cruz, he found his artistic roots were deep in California. It was in Santa Cruz he would meet Matt and build a relationship with Adoni Clothing.
Having spent a good deal of time exploring the coast, he now lives in Orange County where he works for O'Neill clothing. Spending his nights painting and writing folk music, he still strives to make art a priority.
